This policy describes what the site collects and which companies process it so the service can run.

Who we are

Wisconsin Gun Trader is a classifieds site for private firearm sales in Wisconsin. TTS, LLC operates the site. Questions about this policy go to contact@wisconsinguntrader.com.

Information you give us

When you create an account, post a listing, send a message, apply to advertise, apply for a dealer profile, or join the newsletter, we keep what you submit. That includes your email address, listing text and photos, messages, and application details. Account passwords are stored as a hash. Do not put a password in a listing or a message.

Information collected automatically

The site logs IP address, browser type, and pages requested so we can run the service, limit abuse, and measure traffic.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics (GA4) may run when a measurement ID is configured. It uses cookies to count visits. Vercel Analytics measures page views, and Vercel Speed Insights measures performance. A short notice at the top of the site links to this policy and can be dismissed. You can also block cookies in your browser.

Security checks

Cloudflare Turnstile runs on forms that use it, including account signup, to reduce automated signups.

Payments

Paid listing extras are charged through PayPal. Those extras are additional photos, a product video, Featured, New today, and optional support. The site does not take payment for a firearm. PayPal receives what it needs to complete the charge and handles that payment under its own policy. Sponsor placements and directory listings are not paid on the site.

Email

Account mail, message notices, and the newsletter are sent with Resend. Newsletter mail goes out only after you confirm the address, and each message includes an unsubscribe link.

Storage

Listing photos are stored with the listing. Product videos are stored in Cloudflare R2 so the listing page can play them. A video is removed from R2 when the listing is deleted.

Who receives information

Running the site means sharing the relevant information with the companies named above: Google for Analytics, Vercel for hosting, analytics, and speed measurement, Cloudflare for Turnstile and for R2 video storage, PayPal for paid extras, and Resend for email. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it, including a valid court order. We send only what that request covers.

How long we keep it

Account and listing information stays while the account or listing exists, and longer when we need it for a dispute, a fraud check, or a legal duty. Email contact@wisconsinguntrader.com to ask that an account be closed.

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the version you are reading.
