Copyright takedown

If you believe a listing, photo, video, or other material on Wisconsin Gun Trader infringes a copyright you own, send a notice to TTS, LLC. This page describes what to include. It is not legal advice.

Where to send it

Email contact@wisconsinguntrader.com with the subject “Copyright notice.” TTS, LLC will review notices sent to that address. Mailing a paper notice is not required.

What the notice needs

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • The copyrighted work you believe was copied.
  • The page address of the material on this site, enough for us to find it.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.

What we do

If the notice is complete, we remove or disable the material and tell the member who posted it. We may close an account that repeats infringement. A notice that does not identify the material, or that we cannot verify, may be returned for more detail.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address. Include your signature, the material that was removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, your name and contact information, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in Wisconsin. TTS, LLC may restore the material if the copyright claimant does not file a court action after a counter-notice, as the statute provides.
