Listing rules
Posting a listing is free. These rules sit on top of the User Agreement. Breaking them can get the listing, and the account, removed.
What belongs here
- One firearm or related item per listing, in a category the site offers: pistol, rifle, shotgun, optics, or accessories.
- A title and description that match the item, including make, model, and caliber or gauge when it is a firearm.
- Photos of the actual item. Extra photos and a product video are optional paid extras.
- A Wisconsin county. This board is for Wisconsin.
What is not allowed
- NFA items are not allowed. User Agreement §9 is an absolute ban, including machine guns, suppressors, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, any other weapons, and anything that needs a tax stamp. Pre-86 manufacture and ATF registration are not exceptions.
- Destructive devices are not allowed. That ban is User Agreement §10.
- Ammunition is not allowed. There is no ammunition category.
- Hate, harassment, and foul language are not allowed. Test posts, jokes, and crime-coded wording are removed.
- A listing that asks someone to break transfer law, or to skip a dealer when the law requires one, is removed. See Transfer rules.
How to behave
You are responsible for what you post and for following federal, state, and local law. The site does not check that a buyer may possess the firearm. Use in-site messages. Do not ask the other person to pay for the firearm through this site.
